Puff Stitchy is a crochet site built around one promise: every toy pattern on it is complete. The rounds are written out, the stitch count sits at the end of every line, and the parts are listed in the order you make them. Nothing is sold, nothing is hidden behind a download, and nothing links to a PDF.
What you’ll find here
Amigurumi and plush toys come first, because that is what most people arrive wanting to make. Around them sit the pages that make the toys possible: single stitches taught one hook move at a time, techniques like the magic ring and the invisible decrease, guides to yarn weights and hook sizes, and a whole section of fixes for curling, cupping and holey rounds.
Projects beyond toys get the same treatment. A granny square, a bucket hat or a two-rectangle top is written with the hook size, the yarn weight and the rounds or rows, never “use your favorite pattern”.
How the patterns are written
All patterns use US crochet terms. A single crochet here is the short stitch, a double crochet is the tall one, and the page says so wherever it matters. Toys are worked in continuous rounds unless a part says otherwise. Abbreviations are kept to the standard set (ch, sc, hdc, dc, inc, dec, sl st, MR) and every pattern prints the key.
Stitch counts are checked by hand. If a count is wrong, that is a mistake worth reporting, and the fastest way is an email to admin@puffstitchy.com.
About the pictures
Some photographs on this site are digitally created illustrations of the finished piece, made to show the shape and the colors the pattern produces. The instructions are written independently of the pictures, so follow the rounds and the counts, and treat the images as a guide to what you are aiming for.
Saving and sharing
Every image has a Save button for Pinterest. Pin anything you like. If you post a finished toy somewhere, a link back to the pattern page is appreciated, and it helps the next maker find the full instructions instead of a cropped photo.
